David Harvey on how capital works

Colby is a filmmaker, actor, and musician whose work spans feature films, short films, music videos, and live performance. His recent feature acting debut, Decibel, screened at multiple film festivals before being acquired for distribution by Chroma.
As a director and videographer, he has worked on projects featuring Dave Matthews, Jon Batiste, Marcy Playground, Louis Cato, Marcus Miller, John Scofield, and The Late Show Band.
Colby recently made his feature film acting debut in the indie tech-thriller Decibel (FilmQuest, Abertoir, Soundscreen Film Festival, Sound Unseen Film + Music Festival, and more) in a lead role, playing Griff. He pulled double duty as the film’s Music Producer, and contributed six songs to the soundtrack. Decibel is distributed by Chroma and is available on Apple TV, Amazon Prime, Tubi, and more.
Prior to Decibel, Colby competed in Complex Media’s Type Beat Battle, a live-streamed weekly music competition produced in partnership with Twitch. Colby won ten consecutive episodes and was the only contestant to remain undefeated throughout the program’s run.
